Currently....

I always love reading others "Currently" posts.  I've decided to link up with Oh Boy 4th Grade for her Currently linky party! :)

It is going to be my goal to blog once a week, even if it's nothing but a quick update about the week!  I think this is an attainable goal, let's see if I can keep up with it! :)

This week has been all kind of hectic.  Monday was a half day of work for me since I had to get a cist removed by my eye.  Unfortunately, Miss B ended up with a fever on Monday night through Tuesday.  Turns out she had an ear infection (only her 3rd ever, so I'm not really complaining).  When I made it back to school on Wednesday, I felt as though I had been gone a week.  I have been playing catch up ever since, I'm exhausted.  Thankfully tomorrow is Friday!

On an exciting note, one of my coworkers helped me set up our MYSTERY crime scene for out TAG (GT) kiddos today after school. I would have been lost without her help or just way more exhausted, you're the best Brittany! I'm pretty darn excited about the MYSTERY and so are the students.  I have been working with 12 first and second graders for about 3 weeks now, preparing them and helping them develop skills to solve our MYSTERY!  Be on the lookout, a post about how the MYSTERY is going will be coming in the near future! :)

I hope everyone has had a great week, it's almost FRIDAY!! :)

  2. Love your pretty blog! Mystery Crime Scene definitely sounds great!!! And I had to finally stop watching Grey's because I felt depressed and overwhelmed at the end of it. I hated not knowing what was going on last season, but I just had to do it!
Come by and check my blog out sometime! :)
    Thanks!

    1. Thanks for the sweet compliment, Jenny. Grey's definitely can be depressing, I'm not as obsessive with it as I used to be. Thanks for checking out my blog, come back and visit anytime! :)

  3. Do you think The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me would be too young for 4th graders? I'm trying to put together a Roald Dahl author study, but I need something for my below grade level readers.

    Your blog is so cute!

    1. I think that it would be a great book for 4th graders. I am reading it aloud to my 2nd graders. If you haven't read it, you should! It is a very cute book, the kids just love it!

    1. Thank you, the antibiotics kicked in about the 4th dose and she started being herself again! I'm glad to know it is not just my lesson plans that seem to grow, I don't think I have EVER successfully made it through the entire week teacher everything on my lesson plan. I always end up bumping at least one or two things to the next week. Thank you for following, I already headed on over to yours to follow you as w

  9. Hope that your little one is on the mend, Ear infections make everyone miserable. This summer I saw pelicans for the first time on the Oregon coast. First thing I thought of was The Giraffe, the Pelly and Me. Great book.
