A child's perspective

I love the conversations that occur in my classroom. Earlier this week we were talking about tigers and why we only have 1 tiger for every 25 that there were 150 years ago. One of the many reasons people kill them is for food. As we were having this conversation, most of my kids squealed and said, "ewwwww." While the majority of the students found the idea of eating a tiger disgusting, one of my sweet kiddos responded with, " yum, that sounds good, I love meat!" You just have to love their little minds, I couldn't help but to burst out laughing!

This week I had the kids make a book for their mom. Here are a few pages, from different kids, that I was able to get a snapshot of before they were wrapped up!
