Currently

I am usually struggling to get in one-two posts a week and here I am posting twice in one day!  When I saw Farley post her currently for April, I couldn't resist!  I mean to do these every month and then I end up not getting around to it!  So this will be short and sweet, my sugar high baby, lesson plans, and sub plans for two days have WORN me out!  Not to mention the fact that we were up bright dark and early to make it to sunrise service at church this morning! :)

Click on the image above to check out Farley's awesome blog and April Currently!

To all my fellow Texas teachers, good luck to you and your students on the STAAR test!!! :)

  2. Three day weekends every weekend would be glorious! I like that idea greatly.. I'm not sure administrators will ever go for it though.

  3. I am totally voting for you for president - 3 day weekend ROCK! It is going to be a long week - state testing starts here in Texas. Even though I teach kinder, it's long for us too. Eating with the kids, no restroom breaks, quiet quiet -- ugghh!! Well, it's best to get it going! As you said....if we've been handed it, we can handle it!!

  4. I love your advice and thank you for visiting my blog. I teach 2nd as well and have for the past 6 years and I'm not sure I can go back to having students who aren't so independent.

I'm excited to be a new follower.
